Children’s Education
Sunday School
We are blessed to have warm wonderful Sunday School Teachers for our children. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 10:45 a.m. A snack is usually offered during the time together. Our teachers are interested in getting to know each child and seek to encourage each child to feel at home, to ask questions, and to grow in their knowledge and love of God. Children’s classes will be using PCUSA’s We Believe curriculum.

Way Cool Wednesday
This is a weekly program for children Kindergarten through fifth grade. There is Bible study using the Logos curriculum and the class teachers are Keirsten Deater-Deckard, Susan Hunter, Debbie Showalter, Sarah Windes, and Melody Zobel. Choir time is spent with Mary Harder, Children’s Choir Director, and Mary Lee Hendricks, Accompanist. Clare Dannenberg is the Snack Hostess. Come enjoy games, crafts, and then have dinner with assigned Dinner Parents. One of the greatest aspects of Way Cool Wednesday is the time spent around the dinner tables with our dinner families. Dinner Parents are members of the church who feel a special calling to work with children in this setting. We get to know each other, share our good things and our bad things, help each other with manners, and serve the meals family style. The relationships that are shared and nurtured around the tables are so special and help us all grow in our knowledge and love of God and each other.
