Congregational Care and Nurture

The Congregational Care Committee works closely with the Session and Elders of BPC supporting visitation within the congregation. The purpose of this committee is to formalize aspects of caring ministries that will enhance quality of care and encourage healthy habits and relationships among members of BPC.

  • Need a ride to worship?
  • Do you have a doctor’s appointment but no transportation?
  • Are you simply not feeling well and think you need help?
  • Can’t make it to worship but interested in hearing the sermon?
  • Worried about becoming ill during the worship service?
  • Coming home from the hospital but not quite ready to prepare meals?
  • Facing an emergency?
  • Will you be without family on Christmas day?
  • Would you like a memorial service reception in order to greet extended family and friends?
  • Interested in promoting health and spiritual wellness?

Congregational Care will arrange rides a ride to worship for you any time. Congregational Care will make sure you receive a worship CD if you are unable to attend. Among other medical assistance available, Congregational Care has provided training for BPC members to operate an automated electronic defibrillator. The primary goal of Congregational Care is to furnish food and care, nurturing the body and the soul. Congregational Care is organized to take care of you. Join a group championed by Congregational Care that enjoys Christmas lunch together. Participate in the Walk to Jerusalem, an ecumenical fitness/spirituality program sponsored by Congregational Care.
