Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women meet in small groups called circles. Bible study is an important part of the fellowship and circles work together on church projects, such as the Plum Pudding festival at Christmastime and taking care of the kitchen.
Most circles meet once a month September through May. There is one tailored just for your lifestyle and schedule.
- The Morning Circle meets at 10:00am at the church.
- The Afternoon Circle meets at 1:30pm in the members' homes.
- The Hildegard Circle generally meets at 6:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month in members' homes and includes a shared meal. This circle focuses on peace and justice and also meets during the summer.
Presbyterian Women support community projects that include, but are not limited to, the Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry , the Women's Resource Center, the Free Clinic, the Children's Home in Wytheville, and the Head Start Program.
We recommend that you visit the different circles and find the one that is a match for you. If you have any questions or would like more information about Presbyterian Women , please call the Moderator, Elva Miller (951-8407), or the Vice Moderator, Jama Hayes (382-6649).
We look forward to working with you in our ministry to serve Christ in this place, growing in His grace.
